Our story
Before Alfirdaus Technologies became a company, there were years spent teaching, learning, administering schools, and experiencing the challenges of Islamic education from inside the institution.
Before Alfirdaus
The company was shaped by the same institutions it now exists to serve.
The journey moved through Qur'an classrooms, school administration, Arabic and Islamic Studies teaching, computer education, and eventually software development. Technology did not come first. Understanding the problem did.
The journey
At sixteen, the journey began with teaching Qur'an after graduating from El-Kanemi College of Islamic Theology in Maiduguri. The first classroom was at a school managed by the founder's father, Ustaz Tajuddeen — later known as Al-Firdaus Islamic Academy.
After spending time in Abuja refining Qur'an memorization, the journey continued at Salim Global Integrated Academy in Shuwari, Maiduguri, as a professional Qur'an teacher.
Teaching continued alongside formal computer studies, including a Diploma in Computer Application with Internet. At Tudun Wada Model Islamic School, the mentorship of Ustadh Al-Amin Qasim further shaped an approach to teaching built on discipline and thoughtful methodology.
A move to Al-Mafaz Academy in Abuja brought responsibility as Chief Administrative Officer. Working in administration revealed another side of education: the systems, records, processes, and people required to keep a school functioning well.
While teaching Qur'an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies at Al-Iman Secondary School in Keffi, one problem stood out: Qur'an memorization records were still heavily dependent on paper. Progress was difficult to analyse, records were vulnerable to loss, and management lacked a clear view across students and classes.
At Misbahul Ilm Schools in Kurudu, Abuja, development began on a simple Hifz tracking system for one classroom. Building it required deeper technical skills, leading to intensive study and experimentation with modern web development.
Iteration

versions explored
More than twenty versions of the software were built and abandoned while the idea developed. Each iteration exposed a new lesson about the technology, the workflow, or the problem itself. Within roughly six months, a classroom tool had grown into a much larger vision for Islamic education technology.
The name
A connection back to where the journey started.
As the project grew beyond a single application, the founder sought the advice of his father, whose management of Al-Firdaus Islamic Academy had been part of the journey from the beginning.
With his support and blessing, the name Al-Firdaus was carried into a new chapter: Alfirdaus Technologies.

Today
Alfirdaus Technologies exists to empower Islamic schools with practical technology: preserving excellence in Qur'an education, simplifying administration, strengthening access to educators, and helping institutions focus more of their time on shaping lives.
